We are looking for a Group Financial Controller that can take a high level of responsibility in our consolidation and reporting process. Our organization is growing rapidly and this together with being listed at NASDAQ US lead to many interesting and challenging new projects and tasks for the Reporting team.


The main focus for this role is to be responsible for the external reporting process to NASDAQ, which includes quarterly and annual filings. The role requires a high level of competence in the accounting, group consolidation and tax area. 


The Group Financial Controller is a part of the Reporting team and at present, we are 6 people in the team. The Group Financial Controller reports to the Head of Reporting. The Reporting team is responsible for the Group consolidation and financial reporting process, including the reporting to NASDAQ. The team is also responsible for coordinating the finance processes in our foreign subsidiaries, for which the accounting is outsourced to external service providers. The role is located in Uppsala, with the possibility to working remotely part of the time.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and review activities in the group consolidation and financial reporting process
Being the consolidation expert within the team
Responsible for coordinating and performing the financial reporting to NASDAQ, including the contact with the auditors
Ensure quality and accounting & tax compliance in our long-term incentive (LTI) programs
Responsible for our transfer pricing process, including securing compliance for our internal profit in the inventory process
Responsible for the group corporate income tax process
Ensure and develop the team’s financial internal control process (SOX compliance)
Coordinate/drive development initiatives within the team


Qualifications
Required:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
Several years of experience in Finance & Accounting
Highly developed skills in consolidation of financial statements
Developed skills in accounting and reporting standards
Good knowledge within IFRS

Beneficial:
Developed skills in statutory and tax reporting
Developed skills in financial internal control
Experience from US GAAP and SOX compliance

You have strong written and verbal skills in Swedish and English, have a good understanding of financial principles and have excellent Excel skills. Preferably you have experience working in AARO and Workiva.

Since this role will work closely with different parts of the Olink organization as well as with other Finance team members, strong coordination and collaboration skills are also vital to be successful in this role.
