Group Financial Controller

Svea Solar has grown roughly from 1 billion SEK in turnover in 2021 to 2 billion SEK in 2022. We will continue our growth at the same pace - doubling each year - while continuing to deliver the strategy of becoming Europe’s leading solar energy solution provider.

The role
As a Group Financial Controller, you will be part of a team of 40+ finance professionals within accounting, controlling and treasury based in Stockholm. Your core team is the Accounting team reporting to our Group Accounting Manager.

You will be responsible for a wide scope of tasks, including statutory and tax accounting, consolidation and group reporting, financial statements, and annual accounts within Svea Solar Group. Going forward, you will be able to drive the IFRS transition and actively participate in financial projects that will have a significant impact on the Group.

More specifically, the scope of the role is:

- Statutory accounting and group reporting.
- Consolidated financial statements (monthly and quarterly), annual accounts and shareholder reporting.
- Development, implementation and compliance with corporate accounting and reporting policies, local and international accounting standards and group internal control framework.
- Securing quality of external and internal reporting, reconciliation between group and statutory reporting, and further improving the efficiency of reporting processes and systems.
- Driving and actively participating in the assessment and evaluation of transfer pricing policy and preparation of transfer pricing documentation.

To succeed in this role, we believe that your experience should contain:

- Periodical financial reporting (extra merit with experience from public companies)
- IFRS & K3.
- Transfer pricing.
- Experience from multiple reporting units, especially from acquisition-intensive companies.
- Fluency in English and Swedish.
