Group Financial Controller
Would you like to be part of the next phase of our successful growth story? Verisure is seeking a talented, open minded and a passionate Group Financial Controller to join our Group Finance Control team with colleagues in Sweden, Lisbon, Madrid and other locations.

As a Group Financial Controller within Group Finance you will have the chance to work with varied tasks and a broad range of competencies. The main focus is to ensure quality and timeliness in Verisure’s external financial reporting, according to IFRS. You will be in close dialogue with the local finance functions in the 17 countries where we operate, as well as with Group Internal Control, Group Treasury, Group Tax, Group Legal and Group FP&A.
Location
The position will be based in Malmö and you will be seated together with colleagues from the broader Group Finance team based in Malmö. You will be reporting to Senior Group Financial Controller, who is based in Malmö, Sweden. The Group Finance team has members based in different locations, such as Geneva, Malmö, Madrid, Lisbon, Paris and Linköping.
Responsibility
As a Group Financial Controller within Group Finance you will be a part of the Group Finance Control team. We work together as a team with shared responsibilities and your main areas of responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Prepare and perform quarterly analyses
* Be involved in impairment testing for goodwill and other intangible assets within the Group
* Be involved in the preparation of annual reports in accordance with IFRS
* Monthly review of tax reporting from entities within the Group
* Be responsible for the monthly closing review in holding entities
* Be involved in updating and revising the accounting principles for the Group
* Ad hoc accounting questions and analysis
What you bring

We also see that you have the following experience, qualifications and personality:
Experience and qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business
* Approximately 2 years of relevant experience from financial accounting/reporting or similar
* Skilled in Excel
* Advanced/Proficient level of English is mandatory
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
Meriting:
* Experience as an auditor
* Working in an international or listed company
* Knowledge of IFRS regulations

* Ability to navigate in an international/multicultural environment
* Organized and structured, highly skilled at establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Skilled at interacting with different stakeholder groups, with a customer and solution-oriented approach
