Plasman is now searching for a Group financial controller to the European headquarter based in Mölndal, Göteborg.

As Group financial controller you account for the consolidation of six legal entities of Plasman Europe and report to Vice President Finance & IT. The primary responsibilities are to ensure that requirements for internal controls and accurate financial statements are in place and operating at all European Plasman locations, to support the operations to maximize sales growth, gross profit and profitability and to optimize working capital and investments. You work in close cooperation with the regional finance teams.

The general purpose of this position is to manage the group finance function to meet high corporate standards regarding financial activities and business analysis.

Tasks and responsibilities

· Responsible for group consolidation, group annual report and tax related matters

· Secure compliance with all relevant internal and external accounting standards for the group

· Plan, coordinate and align the finance community at closing periods

· Secure that policies and procedures within finance is documented, communicated and updated in the Finance Manual

· Secure implementations, changes and compliance in authorization rules and regulations

· Initiate and drive improvement projects in financial processes

Qualifications, Experience & Personality

The ideal candidate has a solid experience in group accounting and finance. International experience, manufacturing business is a plus. You may be at an audit firm ready for the next step in your career.

Your professional skills cover group accounting, finance, tax, legal, ERP-, IT- and BI-systems. Solid knowledge in Swedish GAAP is required while experience in IFRS and US GAAP is a plus. Your educational background is a university degree, Master or Bachelor of Science in Finance and/or Business Administration and both English and Swedish are your working languages.

We are looking for a person with strong analytical ability with attention to details, high energy and great communication skills. Other personal characteristics in demand for this role are structure and accountability combined with an interest in accounting.
