Group Innovation Counsel (60-100%)

Verisure is seeking a talented and innovative Group Innovation Counsel. A newly-created role, it will focus on Verisure’s innovative customer offerings which protect properties and people using increasingly sophisticated technology.

With increasing complexity comes the need, and opportunity, for a highly talented individual to help support the innovation teams from ideation to roll-out of new services and alarm system devices, including how we communicate and contract with our customers.  The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in Proposition Management, Technology, Marketing and Verisure counsel in our HQ (Geneva) and in our countries.

The role will be expected to develop as the business grows. We are looking for someone who can make a tangible positive impact to transform and add value.

Responsibilities
Working closely with colleagues in other functions, Group Legal team colleagues and our in-country counsel, the legal adviser will:
* play a leading role in the development of new services and alarm system products;
* contribute to building global toolboxes of customer-facing materials for new services and alarm products for our countries’ Operations, Marketing and Legal teams; 
* ensure that our customer-facing materials are compliant with EU consumer protection principles;
* manage legal aspects of webshop development and launches.

Location
The role can be based in Copenhagen or Malmö, with a possibility to benefit from our hybrid work model - working both in-office (Malmö Innovation Center) and remotely.

The role will require occasional travel within Europe.

Candidate profile
Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for a high potential, top performing individual, proactive.  The person must be focussed on finding solutions and driving value.
* A qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification in-house or private practice.
* Excellent written and verbal skills in English.  Any other European language would be an asset.
* Excellent drafting skills.
* High level of judgement and discretion, strong management of confidentiality.
* Very strong people and process skills. 
* Strong project management and presentation skills.
* Analytically strong. 
* Reliable and transparent.
* Experience of the following will be considered an asset (but absence should not discourage keen applicants):
+ B2C contracting;
+ consumer protection; and
+ in a business with a technology-based services portfolio.
