Dellner Group is leading the world in Braking System Design & Manufacturing. We provide the material handling, mining & bulk handling, marine, iron & steel, wind energy, off- & onshore, oil & gas, bridges and movable structures, pulp & paper industries with braking solutions. We also supply hydraulic components for wind and turbine market as well as provides technologically advanced vibration control, rubber fabrication and bonding solutions for a global market.
The start was in 1941 but it is not until recent years that the Dellner Group was formed. With a revenue of 175 million Euro the Group has approx. 1000 employees in over 15 countries.
Dellner Group AB consists of two major parts; Dellner Polymer & Glass Solutions and Dellner Bubenzer Group.


About the position
As Group IT & Digitalisation Manager you contribute to the long-term development of our IT platform to meet the requirements of the organization and the market.
We will start projects such as implementing new business system, integration/communication with customers/suppliers and digitize the product range (IoT) by integrating, for example, service systems.
You are the one who supports, guides and challenges in IT-related issues and you will play an important role in the company's strong growth and development.
You are an obvious and active member of the management team and you lead and motivate your committed IT colleagues to drive the business forward.
The responsibilities are:
Cohesion for the entire IT infrastructure
Responsibility for developing and managing the IT environment
Operationally lead development projects by capturing requirements from the business, specifying, prioritizing, planning, and implementing new solution
Leadership for the IT department/function, which currently is a responsibility for around 10 employees around the world. The job requires you to both be strategic and operational. You get an overall responsibility for the Group’s IT function which include people leadership.
Support for owners and management in strategic IT issues

You report to the Group CEO and the position is based in Borlänge, Sweden. Since it is a global role travelling will be required.


Who are you?
You have many years of solid experience of qualified and broad IT responsibility and thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial growth company.
You have good knowledge of and great interest in digital development, what it means and will mean for IT.
You have interest in and experience of working close to the business and in the business. It is important that you can work operationally with our systems.
To succeed you are a forward-leaning person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
As an individual you are, proactive, communicative, business oriented and structured. You are good at collaborating and creating trust.



Your Background
You bring relevant academic background (or similar) and experience in working as an IT Manager, CIO, or other leading positions in global companies, an advantage is manufacturing industry experience.
You are experienced in leading change and have successfully been working with implementation of new digital solutions, platforms and systems.
Furthermore, you have an overall understanding of all aspects of the IT infrastructure
You have excellent English language skills. German is an advantage.
