Atlas Antibodies is now looking for a Group Leader, passionate about creating value for customers, to lead the Product Validation team.
About the Role
As a Group leader of the Product Validation Team, you will lead and develop an R&D group consisting of seven employees who are responsible for application development and commercial support for the current product portfolio. This includes performing validation and generating QC specifications of existing products as well as technical and product support. You report to the CSO and is part of the R&D department management group.
In this position you will act as a role model and motivate your group to perform at their best. You will support the Atlas Antibodies AB strategy within the role and work according to present regulations, policies, SOPs and in line with our values and code of conduct.
This position includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations within the group
• People management and coaching
• Budget and Personnel responsibility
• Create and execute R&D plans
• Develop and improve processes, products, and technologies
• Act as process/object/system and resource owner
• Strategic work by identify, evaluate and develop new opportunities
• Product care of existing products throughout the life cycle
About you
To succeed in the role, we believe that you have experience from a similar role within the Life Science sector and are confident in your leadership skills.
You are self-motivated and you keep yourself updated regarding methods and technical tools to ensure having the right information to perform in your day-to-day work. You are eager to build and motivate a team based on self-leadership and find your way to contribute to our growth and future company goals.
Qualifications:
• Licentiate or PhD in biomedicine, biotechnology or equivalent to
• Previous experience as manager or leader within Life Science industry
• Preferably previous experience in antibody development and assay development
• Meritorious with experience in methods used in protein analysis such as immunohistochemistry, multiplexing and western blot
• Meritorius with experience in customer interaction and technology support
• Meritorious with experience in project management
• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written
