Academic Resource is now looking for a Group Leader Quality Control to Atlas Antibodies, which is located in Bromma, Stockholm. The position is a direct recruitment on behalf of our client. Start according to agreements.
The role
As a Group Leader within QC you will be responsible for supporting the Atlas Antibodies AB strategy within the role and work according to present regulations, policies, SOPs and in line with their values and code of conduct. Furthermore, keep updated in methods, technical tools and make sure to have the right information in day-to-day work. You will be active in contributing to a good working environment and reaching company goals.
Duties
• Manage daily operations within the group.
• Supervise, develop, and lead staff.
• Planning of budget, resources, personnel, and business.
• Group Leader duties are planning, control and performance improvement of the production process and unit, laborative and administrative work.
Your profile
As a Group Leader within QC, you will need to meet these qualifications:
• A relevant university education such as a master’s in life sciences or similar field, or bachelor’s and work experience equivalent to a master's degree, alternatively deep experience from similar jobs.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a management role within Quality control.
• Experience in working according to standardized quality management systems.
such as ISO 9001. ISO 13485 or GMP. Experience in working with digital tools.
• Fluent in English and preferably also in Swedish, though not required.
• Knowledge and experience from manufacturing processes for biological, chemical, or pharmaceutical products, especially protein purification through chromatography, protein expression from procaryote and eucaryote cell cultivation.
Furthermore, we see that you have an interest in technical solutions (automation and optimization for processes), experience from delivering efficiency using Lean/continuous improvements, interest in working with digital tools and drive for developing staff members and business within production and in adjacent processes within the Operations department and the Company.

The idea of the researchers was to make the unique antibodies developed in the project available to fellow researchers worldwide. Fifteen years later, the company has successfully launched more than 60,000 products for protein research. These reagents include highly validated antibodies, antigens, and protein quantification standards for mass spectrometry, constituting a unique portfolio of high-end proteomics tools, relevant for basic and clinical research in important areas such as cancer research and neuroscience.
