Job Summary
As Legal Counsel within our Group Legal Support, you provide general legal support with regard to any legal matters at Group level with a focus to provide legal support to, and manage risks for, Group Finance, both external financing (e.g. syndicated loan agreements, local loan agreements, bond programs, derivatives), internal financing (e.g. cash pools) and manage risks for the group connected with financing. You also give support on Group level in corporate governance matters, as well as for M&A and other projects and matters at Group level in a decentralized organization. Furthermore, developing and setting common policies and processes is also part of your role, as is reporting and following up on them.
In this position, you report to the Vice President of Group Legal Support. You are located at our headquarters at World Trade Center in Stockholm, and some international travel is part of your job.
Your profile
You have a Master of Law degree, and at least seven years of professional experience from a law firm or an in-house role – preferably in an international organization. You also have experience from managing external legal resources effectively and cost-efficiently, as well as from managing, implementing and responding positively to change in an adaptive and innovative manner. Furthermore, you have proven ability to utilize skills in various legal areas, especially within finance law but also within corporate law, M&A and other matters typically managed on group level in a decentralized organization. Experienced in managing solutions, delivery and analysis of intricate issues in a complex organization is a merit. We are a truly international player, and this calls for fluency in both English and Swedish.
