Group Legal Counsel - Electromobility

We are looking for a Group Legal Counsel – Electromobility who will support the Volvo Group’s transformation ambitions within electrification, sustainability and circularity. In this role, you will be part of a newly formed Legal Electromobility Leadership Team and will, together with the Head of Legal & Compliance Volvo Energy and Group Electromobility and the rest of our colleagues, help to drive coordination and alignment of the electromobility legal and compliance efforts across the Volvo Group. You will also be given the opportunity to work with a wide range of issues as it will be our responsibility to together future proof the Volvo Group electromobility journey from cradle to grave.

In order to succeed in this role it is essential you have a strong ability to form trustful relationships - inside and outside of the Volvo Group – working with our colleagues within the legal community and otherwise in a cross-functional manner. We believe you have strong leadership skills, that you are result-driven at the same time as you are solution-orientated and pragmatic.


You should also have or be:
Legal Master’s Degree from an accredited law school.
At least 6 years of qualified working experience at a top-tier law firm or an in-house legal department.
Great project management skills and extensive experience from leading big project teams with good results.
Self-motivated and highly effective, with a can-do mindset and the ability to work independently whilst being a team player.
Strong strategic mind-set without losing the ability to be hands-on.
Experience from working within the energy or electromobility sector is merited.
Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English.
