We are SAS - Suspension, Axles and Steering
We are located in two sites: Bangalore and Gothenburg and we proudly take ownership of of our technology. We will continue to grow in capacity and responsibility in the coming years!
Automation, electrification and CO2 challenges are keeping us busy, just like alternative fuels and increased load capacity. As part of our Technology Stream, we are working globally with all sites and with our collagues from purchasing, manufacturing and after market.


Your future role?
We are looking for a group manager for a growing team of highly skilled lead and senior engineers with global ownership of advanced steering systems. The Advanced Steering team is in charge of front and rear axle steering systems, for hardware and software. With your team, you will have cradle to grave responsibility for your systems and components. We need you to play an active role in developing our Global Technology Area and shape our Product Stream and to move together from a project driven organisation into a product evolution setup.

ISO26262 does not scare you, but you know what to do to comply with it. You know what cyber security might mean for steering systems. You know the agile principles and how to apply them to not only software, but ideally also to hardware development.


A positive mindset and “can do attitude” characterizes your personal profile. You understand that being accountable means driving activities inside as well as outside your own organization. You enjoy balancing between strategic plans and short-term activities. You are comfortable in taking difficult decisions and standing up for the values of our company.
You are holding a University/Bachelor/Master degree in engineering
You have a proven experience within mechatronics engineering, software development for safety critical systems in automotive environments
You are experienced in agile ways of working
You have managerial experience from line or project management
