In Basic Support Services, BSS we develop and maintain the base software for current platforms and we are building the foundation for the future with new platforms and architectures that are centralized, service oriented and enabling the software defined vehicle.


We are an organization with groups and teams in Gothenburg as well as Bangalore.


Your mission at BSS
You will be leading a group of highly competent experts. Right now we are, and have been, in a highly expansive time. Recruitment and coaching of the team will be at the core of what you do and to create high performing teams.


Together with your role as leader you are a valuable member in the BSS management team where the direction of the organization is set. In BSS we understand the need of becoming a software organization, and as part of that we have an open mindset towards working within an ecosystem and with partnerships.


You
To be successful in this challenge the list of must haves could be overwhelming, but all we really ask is that you are truly leading through people. That you see the persons behind teams and support and facilitate them. You love working with performing teams and take pride in making yours the best ever.


If you have been a manager for a long time or if this is your first managerial position is of less importance. Skills can be taught, but you likely come from an embedded software background. Automotive experience can be positive, but so can influences from other business areas.


You have an Agile mindset and way of working, but don’t expect textbook agile.
