What You´ll Do
As the Customer Quality Group Manager, you’ll have a vital role at our manufacturing plant. You will be responsible to ensure high quality to our customer, not only in products but also processes, reports, analysis, progress and communication.
You will lead and support a team of skilled Quality engineers and mentor them in quality methodology and technical know-how. You’ll also work closely with global Business units and Industrial engineering organizations both from an operational and strategic perspective.
You’ll be a member of the Quality and Operational Management team and report directly to Plant Quality Manager.
Main areas and responsibilities:
- You and the team are the customer interface into the complete plant organization
- Overall responsibility for customer quality related topics and decisions regarding communication and actions.
- Responsible for ensuring that all open issues are handled promptly
- Responsible for ensuring that all customer audits are planned and executed according to internal & customer expectations.
- Securing customer approval prior to the release of new products and production lines, (PPAP)
- Maintain and improve the quality and safety according to customers and Magna´s policies, standards and requirements.
- Secure that quality risks and failures at our customers are prioritized, investigated and that measures are implemented and verified.
- Responsible for internal Project Quality (production process quality assurance)

- Experience in Quality engineering, preferred electronics manufacturing
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Excellent communications skills written and verbal
- Experience from working with global customers
- Experience from automotive industry is a merit
Education
University degree within engineering, or equivalent work experience
