Group Manager Design

As manager of a design group in the development department of Driveline Systems, Engineering in Mullsjö you will lead a creative group of design engineers. Our objective is to be in the global front line in our product area, and the position of group manager has a key role in these endeavours. You will have a great number of direct contacts with our international customers, and in these contacts both the marketing of and the adaptation of the abilities of the group to the demands of the customers are important tasks. Your ability to develop the skills, tools and work methods of both the individual members and the entire group is decisive for the achievement of our objectives. As department head you are also responsible for the technical content and for achieving the objective of increased re-use/standardization of parts and subsystems. You are an experienced leader and your background is in design. You have a technical training, preferably as a graduate engineer. We expect you to be keen to reach higher managerial levels, to develop towards a more responsible role within the company. As a person you are open-minded with a good ability to communicate with your subordinates, while at the same time you are committed, keen, creative and have a driving force. We would like you to have a good knowledge of both written and spoken English (as well as German if possible).
