Group Manager Electric Propulsion Software Integration, Volvo Group Trucks Technology Gothenburg @Electromobility


Volvo Group Trucks Technology provides the Volvo Group with cutting-edge R&D, product planning and aftermarket product support. The Electromobility function within Volvo GTT develops the electric propulsion system and its components such as batteries, electric motors and charging solutions for trucks, busses and construction equipment. The organization consists of strongly committed teams of highly skilled professionals who work with passion, trust each other and embrace change to stay ahead.


Role Description
The electromobility area is under strong development and expansion. The work is performed in an international setting together with colleagues around the globe. Now we are looking for a technology driven group manager, heading the Electric Propulsion Software Integration team, who is comfortable leading change, has a strong customer orientation and a proven track record of turning good teams into great ones. The Electric Propulsion Software Integration team manages the software releases, including stringent configuration management, stream-lined build management and running of our build environment. The team is the interface to the software platform and electronics organization and interacts intensively with other functions such as vehicle projects and production. The group manager has a central role for our continuous improvements of processes and way of working, not only for the team but for the entire agile train.


Qualifications
M.Sc. in Engineering or similar
Proven management track-record with ability to define visions and lead change accordingly
Solid experience from Embedded SW development and related fields
Solid experience from Configuration Management and Build Management
General understanding for relevant standards and rules such as ISO-26262, UNECE R155/156 and Automotive SPICE is meriting
Technical knowledge in the Electromobility products, systems and components is meriting
Vehicle application knowledge is meriting
Knowledge in agile ways of working and methods
Fluent in English, verbal and written
Positive can-do mindset
