The Electromobility organization is responsible for the complete development lifecycle from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. We drive the transition from conventional powertrains to electromobility and secure a stepwise implementation in different segments/regions. This organization develops and drives the electromobility component/product portfolio for Trucks & Buses as well creating opportunities for all business areas within Volvo Group. Electromobility is one of the keys to achieving sustainable mobility for the future.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are now looking for a Product Management Manager in the Electromobility organization; perhaps you are the one we are looking for? The Product Management team consists of the Electromobility engineering project managers that help the agile teams to release system and components into our different applications. In the fast moving technology development the Product Management Manager plays a vital role in supporting and coaching these engineering project managers releasing the deliveries. As Product Management Manager, you are part of the Electromobility Portfolio management team.


Responsibilities / Main tasks
Chair the Product Management team which consists of engineering project managers
Coach and develop the project manager team as well as yourself
Represent the Electromobility Range in the GTT cross-functional range forums
Lead the estimation work for new Product Initiatives
Drive the agile way of working and implement new agile ways of working for project managers (aka EPIC Owners), per SAFe definitions
Build and maintain a strong network with peers in all Volvo Group BA’s

and all of the above bullet points with a continues improvement step by step mindset.

You are holding a University Master or Bachelor degree in engineering

You embrace agile work methods and have experience from working with lean and agile principles as a manager
You have driven development or project within a global organization
