Scania Purchasing is responsible for the purchase of products and services to all Scania units worldwide. We provide value to our customers by procuring products and services with the right Technology, Quality, Delivery and Cost, focusing on Sustainability.

On our exciting transformation towards being a provider of complete and sustainable transport solutions, a great opportunity is now available. As the group manager of “Scania Bus projects” you will be leading a newly formed team and be a member of the Purchasing Buses and Coaches management team, reporting to the Purchasing Director for Bus and Coaches.

• Develop and launch new projects, involving new and exciting technology
• Active involvement in the product development process
• High cross-functional cooperation with other departments at Scania and within Traton
• Stakeholder in various cross-functional decision forums representing Bus Purchasing

The team

You will lead and develop a newly formed team in a dynamic and positive culture. Together you lay the foundation for our future supplier base delivering customer solutions for our next generation of vehicles. The Bus Project team will during 2022 move into working in a more agile setup where you’ll be part of and leading the employees in a Value Creation Team setup. The organization is a diverse mix of individuals with high business moral and not afraid of taking new perspectives.

As a person, you are pro-active and organized with a good portion of flexibility to handle multiple open cases. Experience in purchasing or project management is meriting.
