About the role
As a Manager and Product Owner for the Electrical Distribution Components Team, you will focus on the development of components used in many areas of the traction voltage system. This is done in cooperation with colleagues within the electromobility team and close collaboration with suppliers. In addition to this, you will also be expected to network with the customers and stakeholders within the Volvo community. Requirements:
M.Sc. degree in Computer science, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics
At least 10 years of experience in product development, preferably within electromobility
Leadership experience
Fluent in English, verbal and written
Practical experience from working with agile development principles within automotive
Meriting:
Commercial driving license (C/CE for heavy-duty trucks or D for bus)
Experience in heavy-duty vehicle applications and vehicle integration
Experience in driving development with suppliers
Documented experience from a minimum of two of:
Functional safety / ISO-26262 in practice and SW development methods
Electronic platform design
Component design, development, and industrialization processes in Volvo GTT
Technical knowledge in the Electromobility products, systems, and components
Quality management
