The department Order to Delivery (O2D) IT is responsible for supporting P&L with IT solutions and services. We are now designing and implementing the future IT landscape for P&L to support this new world driven by digitalization, a global production system, launch of new products and the cooperation within the VW Truck & Bus group.
The group Powertrain Assembly and Maintenance IT has the objective to support our component workshops with both business development and on-site technical support. By being close to the daily operations we fully understand what is crucial to our colleagues in the workshops and can judge the impact of new solutions and how they should be implemented. As the current manager is moving on to new challenges within the organisation we are now looking for her successor.
Your profile
You are comfortable in your role as a leader and show passion, curiosity and determination to inspire people around you. Creating business plans and roadmaps comes natural and you make sure to follow commitments with the businesses you support. You have an interest for technology and have good understanding for the complete stack of IT services that are needed for an efficient workshop operations. Furthermore your stakeholder management skills are excellent as you are expected to handle multiple business relations as well as coordinating several IT service delivery organisations to support your business.
We think that you have a relevant university degree in the IT field and/or equivalent experience which has given you the ability to talk in terms of IT matters and understand the reality of the users and business critical deliveries. You probably have several years of leadership experience in the past but still a strong drive to continue your development as a leader.
As a person, you have the ability to shift between operational details and a strategic mind-set. You will need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business and you are curious to learn more about production.
Lastly, you need to be proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English.
