Cab Gothenburg is a department within Vehicle Engineering in Gothenburg, responsible for delivering a complete premium cab for the Volvo brand Heavy Duty range (FH/FM/FMX).


The Project and Product section has the responsibility of a quality assured complete premium cab during the product life cycle. We are driving the visualization of the future cab product vision, managing the pre-project phase and also projects and maintenance. We also keeping control of the total portfolio and finances within cab.


The geometrical assurance and verification group has the responsibility to deliver a geometrical assured complete premium cab. This is done both in our physical master and through our geometrical assurance process.

You will be an important member of our team and the cab department. You will be reporting to the section manager for Project and Product in Cab Gothenburg.
 
WHO ARE YOU?


As a group manager for geometrical assurance and verification you need to have good knowledge in the product development process and in the geometrical assurance process within automotive.  
You should have experience of working in all stages in product development projects with geometrical assurance process. Understanding the cross functional dependencies and network.
Knowledge in the geometrical assurance process within both body in white and plastic pars is preferable.


Skills and knowledge in virtual verification methods is an advantage. If you also have experience of using this in development context, this is positive.


As a manager within Cab Gothenburg, you have a strong customer focus, networking and communication skills.


You need to be an inspiring leader and have a positive mind-set, interested in developing people as well as creating high performance teams.


You are expected to have a holistic view, show organizational agility and be able to lead your team to achieve results and continuous improvements. You should possess solid English skills.
