About the role


As a Manager and Product Owner for the Junction Boxes and Platform Design Team, you will focus on the development of junction boxes used in many areas of the traction voltage system. In addition to this the team also supports with Platform Design competences, such as CAD-engineering and bus-bar design. This is done in cooperation with colleagues within the electromobility team and close collaboration with suppliers.


In addition to this, you will also be expected to network with the customers and stakeholders within the Volvo community. The work is performed in an international environment together with colleagues around the globe.

Requirements:
• M.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
• At least 10 years of experience in product development, preferably within electromobility and/or automotive.
• Leadership experience
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.


Meriting:
• Commercial driving license (C/CE for heavy-duty trucks or D for bus).
• Experience in heavy-duty vehicle applications and vehicle integration.
• Experience in working with Sustainability.


Documented experience from a minimum of two of:
• Electronic platform design
• Component design, development, and industrialization processes in Volvo GTT
• Technical knowledge in the Electromobility products, systems, and components
• Leading supplier driven development
• Practical experience from working with agile development principles within automotive.
