Group Manager Logistics - Battery Production

Scania is now undergoing a transformation being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete sustainable transport solutions. The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For us, this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicules and help Scania to be sustainable. One major component of electrical vehicule is the Battery.

Who we are
We are a team working to support the actual workhop of battery production, before we move in the new plant under construction. We are a great team of womens and men with mix of backgrounds, experiences, competencies and nationalities. We work together with the production team and we are motivated to find solutions together. We have an open and inclusive climate where everyone's opinion is asked and appreciated.

What we offer
We offer a interesting job as Group manager Logistics to support our Logistics operation in the actual workshop of batteries. At the moment, we are producing the actual generation of battery packs and prototyping of the next generation of these products, which are the key components for our electricals vehicles, in a dedicated workshop . This workshop will be used until our new and modern factory will be up and runing.

The Group Manager Logistics is in charge to support the workshop with Logistics activities, but contribute as well to create the Logistics organization, recruit and train the resource and will help the start of of the factory by supporting the future operational team.

Your profile
You have a academic background in Production and Logistics or other relevant eduction. You have previous experience of operational and personal responsability, preferably in production or logistics environment. You can communicate in Swedish and English in speech and written.

You have a big production and Logistics heart, and constantly strive to develop our employees, our working methods and methods to reach set goals. As a leader, you are good communicator, who is responsive and had the ability to inspire, motivate and develop you environment. You are engaged, curious and well structured and work as a servant leader securing that your team fill the gaps needed for the solutions needed.
