Do you want to be part of making sure we can use our technology and products within all Traton brands?

At Powertrain Component Controls, ENEC, we develop the control systems for our Traton electrical powertrains and conventional gearboxes. We are looking for a manager responsible for the group Powertrain Controls External Projects, working with development of software and mechatronics functionality that is needed to integrate the Scania developed control systems into other Traton brands. The group is also responsible to develop and adapt software functionality for electrified solutions that is developed for the industrial and marine engines sold by Scania.

The work is done in close collaboration with our partner brands within Traton meaning a lot of joint test activities to ensure that the requested drivability and powertrain performance can be achieved.

We have a very exciting time ahead of us with making sure Traton can deliver our inhouse developed powertrains to all brands and other customers to make sure we get the volumes needed of our products. We are also in the midst of an agile transformation and moving ahead we will strive towards having teams working in a value stream to deliver customer value at an even higher pace with even closer collaboration within Traton.

The group consists of 15 development engineers with mainly software and mechatronics background.

The position

Commitment and participation in the section management team is a vital part of your tasks. The focus in the management team will be on leading the section in the journey of change towards both a more agile way of working in an international environment as well as in the shift towards electric powertrains.
