As an Group Manager Process Automation and System Integration at our Surface Division you will lead a team responsible for the development of cutting-edge technology for our products manufactured here. Your mission

Your mission as the Group Manager Process Automation and System Integration in Örebro is to help create and execute the strategic plan 2030 as related to your group and accomplish the tasks associated to this plan in time and cost-efficient manner. You will assure that the annual plans, KPI's for your group are met, and in case of deviations, proactive actions are taken to address corresponding cost. 

The overall long-term target for the SRD Eyra R&D Automation organization is to create and maintain the most innovative and strongest product portfolio in the industry, to defend and strengthen the Automation technology leading position towards our vision to be the system integrator in the industry.

You will be responsible for establishing a group with access to proper resources with respect to competence and number of people, within the scope of process automation and system integration to support the projects within the project portfolio, the planned product maintenance (CPI) and planned basic development activities.

You will report to Vice President Engineering – Automation and also be a member of Örebro R&D local management team. 

Your profile

For this position, we believe that you have a Bachelor or Master of Science degree within the field of Technology, or similar knowledge gained through work experience. You have extensive knowledge and experience in R&D management and with software for heavy machinery. Experience working with agile project models is considered an advantage.

You are a change agent, who is always looking for new ways to work and a skilled leader with the ability to lead and collaborate cross-functionally, with knowledge in change management.

As our corporate language is English, strong English communication skills both verbal and written are required. Basic communication skills in Swedish are beneficial, but not required.

Location and travel

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel may occur, based on business needs. The position allows a balance between office and home office while maintaining strong visibility in the reporting organization.
