The section Product Documentation have the responsibility of all releases of models, drawings, parts and product numbers within Volvo Car Group. The main task for our section is to secure that Volvo Car Group's products are defined and documented in accordance with established rules in a clear and concise manner. Our primary IT tool is KDP, the Engineering Data Base.The section works closely with both engineering and car projects within the company. Today we consist of approximately 95 persons in four different groups, but since we are constantly growing we will implement a fifth group named Product Documentation Quality Assurance.

As Group Manager - Product Documentation Quality Assurance you will be part of the Product Documentation Management team and lead the quality assurance activities within the function and cross-functional together with R&D, vehicle projects, factories and other consumers of product information. As Group Manager you have the responsibility to lead your group towards set goals, develop their competence and contribute to the sections development. Since this group is to be implemented this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of from start and together with the team create an inspiring environment to work in.

Main responsibilities

* Develop high competencies within the group
* Provide necessary resources and competence
* Develop and maintain working principles within the area
* Actively participate in the department management team and contribute to the development and improvement of operational efficiency and quality of deliveries

Required qualifications

* M.Sc in Engineering, or several years of relevant work experience
* Industry experience in the Product Data Management Area
* Leadership experience
* Good understanding of Volvo Car Groups Product development process is meritorious
* Experience from Design & Release area is meritorious
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
