Group Manager Production - Metal Process

About the position

Responsibilities
You are responsible for the metal process area, both on an operational and a strategic level and have to make sure that both short-term and long-term objectives are met. You have the responsibility of approximately 25 employees, divided into 3 shifts, and therefore systematic environmental work is a major part of the role. For example, by making sure that the employees have a all resources needed to complete their work, that the work environment is satisfactory and to keep your employees motivated and committed.
You will manage personnel matters, such as rehabilitation, recruiting and correction of misbehavior. This will most often be done in close cooperation with the local union.
Continuous improvements will be a part of your daily operations and you will have the support of the Lean Champion and his group of Production Engineers.
You report to the Production Manager.

Requirements
We attach great importance to your personal qualities and as a person you need to have the ability to create commitment. You have a coaching approach but also know how to communicate your expectations to your employees in a clear and educational way. With great leadership abilities you have the means to have a holistic view but at the same time as you are thorough and take a great deal of personal responsibility.
Experience within systematic environmental work, labor law, automotive, SAP, metal process production and Lean production is meritorious, and you need to have great communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
