We are now looking for a great leader to join our Business Development management team within Purchasing.
Our mission
Within Purchasing Business Development we work with improving and developing new processes, methods, tools and systems for Purchasing. We are currently shifting focus towards flow optimization with end-to-end process thinking instead of optimizing work by function. At the same time, we have the mission to enable sourcing for Scania Purchasing Globally and also in a TRATON context. Our current focus is to drive the establishment of the new Scania plant in China, the onboarding of Navistar and the capability to source for other TRATON brands from a Purchasing Process and IT perspective. To make all of this happen we are right now developing our new Purchasing System Landscape where this team plays an important role to set the future way of working for Purchasing.
The team and your role
You will manage a team of 9 skilled Business Developers, direct reporting to you.
Examples of your responsibility as a manager of the team:
• Creating a safe team climate where constant learning is a given factor
• Coaching your co-worker and creating opportunities for them to grow
• Take responsibility for the team’s deliveries
• Collaborate with the management teams within Purchasing as well as cross-functional and cross-brand partners to set strategy and direction for your team
Examples of the team responsibilities:
• Drive the change of our current Purchasing System landscape to SAP and develop new Purchasing Processes based on SAP best practices
• Improve and develop processes and methods to enable and accelerate cross-brand collaboration within TRATON
• Identify gaps and bottlenecks in various Purchasing processes and develop and implement solutions to these
