As Group Manager Rock Drills System and Simulation, you will be an active player in the team that safeguards that Rock Drill Product Line develop the best rock drills, rotation units and that we are the undisputed technology leading supplier to our customers within the field we operate. Job description
The mission is to build a team with simulation and connectivity capacity and make rock drill business able to meet our customers’ existing and coming needs in this area. The aim is to transform future customer needs into innovative technology concepts through long term basic development related to rock drilling, connectivity, smarter rock drills, electrification and energy efficiency.
The key responsibilities include leading and driving continuous improvements through our Lean principles with a special focus on the following areas:
* Simulation methodology development
* Improving product quality
* Reduce Time to Market
* High focus of basic development to ensure new technology and right quality to project start
Profile
You have genuine and true managerial skills with experience of organizational leadership, direct and / or indirect. You have great interpersonal and communication skills that reflect your desire for collaboration. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and across borders motivates you and you have the ability to really listen to understand your team’s needs.
You have a degree in Engineering or another relevant field. Previous experience within simulation and/or electrification on a general level is a requirement to be successful in this role. As our corporate language is English, verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
