Group Manager - Service Platform, System & Architecture

​We are now seeking a Group Manager for SP (Service Platform) System & Architecture, a leader who sees people development as a key factor in the success of our operations and who has a broad technical know-how.
The overall mission of the group System & Architecture, Service Platform is to set the runway, that makes our vehicles the easiest to integrate into customers’ ecosystems and operations; it includes development and evolution of the Service Platform, on top of which customer services can be developed in short loops and with quick time-to-market.


What will you do?


As a Group manager, you will be leading the team & delivering in accordance with the mission & goals of the group. Your key responsibilities also include: -
Coaching and developing the people in the group as well as securing that they have the skills and competences needed for the job
Breaking down the business objectives to define and execute strategies accordingly to set the direction for the group
Prioritization of activities in the scope & allocation of work tasks to direct reports
Working with stakeholders from different organizations to define global technology strategies & roadmaps within the area.

In this role, you will report to the Global Technology Manager of Service Platform & also be part of its corresponding management team.

Relevant Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in project or line management positions
Minimum 8 years of experience in product and/or service development with primary knowledge in system & embedded software development.
Good knowledge in Agile SW development methodologies
Experience from commercial vehicle industry advantageous as understanding of customer’s needs is important in this position.

Applicants shall have a M.Sc. degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or similar.
