The Driver Interaction & Infotainment department is part of the Electrics/Electronics & Chassis unit within R&D. The department is responsible for electrical systems and components in the areas of Driver Interaction (Instrument Cluster, Entertainment Displays, Switches and Climate Control), HMI and Infotainment (Audio, Navigation, Telephony, Bluetooth and Connectivity). The section Audio & Displays, within the Driver Interaction & Infotainment department, is now looking for a group manager for the new Software Development Displays group. The group is aiming to transform the organisation to better handle agile software development in the future. The team consists of 10 dedicated engineers who will be responsible for developing SW for Instrument Cluster, Centre-stack Displays and Head-up Displays.

As a Group Manager for this team your main challenge will be to lead the transformation of how we work with SW development to a more agile way, and align this with the other SW development teams within the department.

Main responsibilities

* Full staff responsibility including recruitment, staff development and management of resource budgets
* Technical responsibility including securing technical strategies, development of work methods and processes and commodity business plans
* Secure the group's deliveries according to Time, Technology and Cost contracts with the vehicle projects
* Deliver and secure line budget frames
* Actively participate in the management team for Audio & Displays section

Required qualifications

* University degree in engineering or equal competence level achieved by long term experience
* Previous management/leadership experience from assignment leadership with proven results, preferably from automotive or electronics engineering
* Ability to independently plan, manage and monitor your and your team's work towards a global goal
* Experience of working within SW development
* Experience of working in an international environment is meritorious
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
