Group manager to Corporate Control IT

IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.



The section Finance IT is a part of the Digital Core department at IT. Finance IT consists of three groups and our mission is to provide sustainable IT solutions and IT expertise within the financing area.  

We are looking for a driven leader with experience of agile transformations and preferably has been working in an IT delivery organisation within Finance. 

The primary areas where you and your team operate are within the Group Financial Reporting, Customs & Export Control, and Compliance & Risk.

You are a natural servant leader with a passion for understanding how modern technologies can be used to improve ways of working. You have most likely worked with IT in a leading position in the financial area; where you have gained great stakeholder management skills and the technical insight to understand how data can enable compliant new business models. 

Your Responsibilities 

As a Group Manager, you will be an active member of the Finance IT management team and will lead, support, and develop one of our three groups – the Corporate Control IT group. In close alignment with our business, you will lead a high-performing team that collaborates with Group reporting, Customs and Export Control and Compliance & Risk at Scania. Your delivery is operated by your own employees as well as managed service where you ensure your teams' ability through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.  

You bring enthusiasm and have the skill to see people and their differences and possibilities. You will also help the team to develop innovative and cost-efficient solutions and services that maximize business value. It is natural for you to create a business plan together with your organization and work on that with a clear focus. Furthermore, you have the courage to constantly improve existing ways of working and know how to validate these ideas 

Among other things, you and your team will join an initiative to find out the best future IT solution for Group reporting as a part of our overall transformation journey within finance.
