Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines, to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. This requires new ways of thinking and working. We need to develop the capabilities to deliver complete solutions with speed and flexibility in close customer collaboration, in a way that inspires and empowers our employees.
The journey you will lead
This is a group manager position within Business Development. You will have a central role in the Purchasing organization and in Purchasing management team. Together with your team, you will support the purchasing organization with the development of business models, driving projects, processes and tools to secure that we are prepared and be compliant for our future journey having the right Purchasing Strategies and business plan activities.
How? – By coaching team members in a changing environment and helping out with priorities. You will inspire business initiatives by sharing success stories and you are engaged in strategic initiatives to develop both the purchasing team as well as the management team.
Business Development at Purchasing consists of five groups – with very competent leaders and team members. You will be a part of Strategy and Purchasing, SNX and part of the management team.
Your profile
You are truly passionate about people, building teams and your leadership style enables you to create trust and engagement. You are great at leading and driving change and often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues. When needed you also have the courage to take tough dialogs and decisions and take full accountability. For you, it is also easy to plan, organize and prioritize the workload in an efficient way. You also have the following:
• Academic degree
• At least 3-5 years experience as a manager
• Experience in change management, project management or similar.
• Fluent English skills
• Basic Swedish skills
• Highly meriting: work experience of purchasing or related areas in Business Development
