About the role
At electromobility, our newly created function within GTT, we collaborate to develop upcoming test & verification operations to assure the future electric drivelines. Due to our ongoing expansion, we’re now on the hunt for an inspirational and result-driven leader who’s ready to create and build up our new Test & Verification organization and drive change through people to enable efficient product development. We are looking for an experienced manager for the Verification planning and rig development team to take on the challenge to develop roadmaps and plans for future projects and enablers, both Physical test rigs and HIL. The responsibility involves maintenance and upgrades of current facility set-up, but also the expansion and development of new test facilities.
With the primary responsibility to define, lead and contribute to your team’s overall electromobility test and verification strategy, you will take ownership of all your team deliveries. Furthermore, you will coach and develop the team and recruit new talents to ensure that we have the expertise to meet future demands. In close collaboration with our internal customers and external suppliers, you will handle projects, investments and budgets to make sure that we deliver on expectations and on time. Additional responsibilities are:
Development of test methods for component/system in both rigs and vehicle
Work proactively with processes and methods to successfully achieve our mission
Lead and develop the team according to the Volvo Group Values and ensure that the function is properly resourced in all aspects
Work in close collaboration with electromobility product owners and with other test and verification functions within GTT

Requirements:
A Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
More than 5 years of experience working with product development in a managerial position
Documented experience of working with agile principles and test and verification
Experience from working with physical rig and/or HIL development
Excellent project management skills
Commercial driving licence, C or CE for heavy-duty trucks
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
