The head office is situated in Hörby, approximately 25 minutes travel from Lund. Atos Medical started the research and development on the first voice prosthesis in 1987 under the name Provox. Throughout the years, Atos Medical has worked to develop Provox as the leading voice and pulmonary rehabilitation system on the market. At the same time, we now allocate substantial development and training resources to our activities in Ear, Nose and Throat. We are about 160 employees in Sweden and 410 in total. Atos Medical is looking for an experienced
Group Manager/Project Manager
Atos Medical is strengthening the Design & Development department. We have over the years been very successful in launching new products within the ENT area and we continue to develop new, innovative products. We are now looking for a Group Manager to reinforce our development team. In this position are you the responsible group leader for project managers and design engineers. We expect you to run a mid-sized project in parallel with your leadership responsibilities.
As Group- and Project Manager you have a close cooperation with other departments in a market driven innovation process. Our products (medical devices), normally single patient use or disposable products, are made of medical grade silicon, polymers or metal and are often patent-protected.
You will also have external contacts with e.g. Atos Medical subsidiaries, clinicians, patient groups, scientists at universities and consultants, in Sweden as well as worldwide.
Who are you?
You are an ambitious, experienced and well skilled Project Manager, preferably with a PMP Certificate and an engineer with a Bachelor or Master Degree. You are skilled in English, both verbally and in written. It is an advantage if you have experience from the Medical Device industry.
You need to be performance-oriented and used to deliver according to plan, self-motivated and a good team leader. Flexibility, open minded and lack of prestige are other characteristics that we value as very important in our organization.
