About the role


Due to our ongoing expansion, we’re now on the hunt for forward-thinking and inspirational leaders to our newly created teams ESS Component Verification, TVS and MDS Propulsion Verification and Traction Voltage Verification within our Test & Verification function at electromobility. As Group Manager, you’ll be part of our management team, in which you will define, lead and implement the overall electromobility Test & Verification strategy and build up our new teams and processes. With the mission to enable efficient product development, you will drive change through innovative technical solutions and inspire your team to develop the future of system testing. Additional responsibilities are:
Development of test methods for component/system in both rigs and vehicle
Take ownership of all your team deliveries and work proactively with processes and methods to successfully achieve our mission
Lead and develop the team according to the Volvo Group Values and ensure that the function is properly resourced in all aspects
Work in close collaboration with electromobility product owners and with other test and verification functions within GTT.

Requirements:
A Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
More than 5 years of experience working with product development in a managerial position
Documented experience of working with agile principles and test and verification
Commercial driving licence, C or CE for heavy-duty trucks
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
