The automotive industry is rapidly shifting and we are expanding! We are now looking for a leader to join our Electrical & Electronics Architecture Team at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. This is the core of our R&D and we are a global function within Vehicle Technology - deliver the latest technology development for all our our products within the Volvo Group.
Who are you?
To succeed as Group Manager within EEA we believe that you have the following background:
MSc. In Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent
Several years of leadership experience (line and/or project/product management)
Several years of electronic system development
Knowledge about Embedded SW development in vehicles
Deep understanding about agile development
Previous experience from development of electrical systems preferably from automotive industry

Change is not a problem for you and you deal with this comfortably and effectively by seeing the bigger picture.
To develop in this the role as Group Manager we also see that you have a strong bottom-line orientation. You are driven and push yourself as well as your team to achieve results. You are used to different ways of communicating and see the benefits in each one. You are open and encourages new ideas and lead by own example.
You take the product ownership of the HW for two new central compute ECUs (which includes, among others, close cooperation with application teams to secure the customer needs, scan the supplier market, develop and deliver together with a Tier 1.
You support all engineers/groups/trains within GTT with semiconductor expertise
You own the semiconductor strategy and roadmap and the group will be responsible for the roadmap and strategy of our computational ECU HWs
