Group PLM Specialist

Are you looking for an international role with focus on continuing digitalization of Systemair Product Life Cycle Management while integrating with sales and operations? The overall goal with our digitalization journey is to empower our colleagues, to shorten lead-times of projects, enable co-operation, decrease cost for design and production and increase the quality of the products.

Systemair is now recruiting a PLM specialist to harmonize the processes, setup and usage of our PLM supporting tools.

As the group PLM specialist, you will play an important role in the future digitalization of our processes within development. That includes identifying and implementing well working integrations with sales processes and tools as well as into production and documentation. You will get the opportunity to travel and work in an international environment. In this role you will work closely with a variety of cross functional, internal stakeholders.

You will report to Group Technical Director.

Main duties and responsibilities will include


• Harmonization of setup and usage of prioritized PLM supporting tools within R&D group
• Define a strategy in cooperation within the Business area of Air Handling Units involving stakeholders across Systemair
• Define, present and follow-up propositions of value-retrieval on suggested road-map in connection with budget
• Setup a road-map based on own propositions of value-retrieval (like internal “business cases”) and plan for an incremental approach within yearly budgets
• Work in cooperation with ongoing production digitalization projects and with system owners of Sales configuration tools, ERP systems and 3D Cad and PLM tools.
• Develop and communicate a strong vision of the benefit of the digitalization roadmap, possibly involving digital twins and AR/VR solutions to decrease prototype-build efforts of today and to provide useful data across disciplines
• Enable Systemair becoming a learning organization by monitoring other companies and our partners to secure implementation of best-practices of PLM digitalization in Systemair operations.
• Develop processes and methods to continuously improve our ways of working including training
• Participate in PLM technical meetings, conferences, workshops, industry4.0 days and the like

Qualifications and Experience


• Master of science or similar education in mechanical engineering
• Experience from structured product development projects of mechanical products preferably including some SW and electrical components.
• Background from production industry, understanding data workflows, master data management, integrations, ERP systems.
• Very knowledgeable around 3D CAD and PLM systems, PTC suite is used at Systemair.
