Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.
Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we’re expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we’re on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.
What we do
As of today, we have online sales for private customers in several European countries as well as in the US. We’ve offered the unique car subscription Care by Volvo exclusively online with exceptional results. This means that our fleet is growing, which puts great demand on rapidly scaling the team and our capabilities.
The Fulfillment and Fleet product cluster's purpose is to create a great, transparent, and reliable customer experience for customers waiting to get their car delivered, and to manage the fleet of cars once delivery is made. The product cluster covers areas such as inventory and fleet management, supply and demand forecasting, fleet service optimization, vehicle replacement and return, de-fleeting as well as remarketing and used cars. With this, the cluster is responsible for major parts of the customer journey, from an order is made until the subscription ends.
Who are we?
We are undergoing a huge commercial transformation that will fundamentally change how we do business. It is a shift from a wholesale business model to a consumer business model with a global omni-channel customer experience at the center of success. We are also on a mission towards a fully electrical car company which will radically change the way we service cars.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Group Product Manager to drive the product strategy of our Fleet sub-cluster that will focus on the “Use” journey of our customers by building teams and products to not only provide great experiences to customers but also to our customer care agents, retailers, and our business customers.
What you’ll do?
You will build product teams and develop product strategy of your sub-cluster (Fleet). You’ll work closely with your product teams to ensure they’re set up for success with the right strategy and solid product roadmaps based on an integrated understanding of business strategy and objectives, commercial outcomes and the possibilities of technology.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset motivated by commercial success and can build team performance around a common purpose. You take ownership for your product domain, the wellbeing of your team and continuous improvement of your product.
And the biggest challenge of all: you will play an active role in navigating a large, complex organization through the challenges of transformation and as a product leader, be at the heart of developing common beliefs and practices between different business areas – commercial and digital, central and regional, traditional and transformed.
You and your skills:
To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
* Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
* Organizational and leadership abilities
* Excellent communication skills
