Group Quality & Operational Excellence Specialist for assignment in Ludvika

Valueone is looking for a Group Quality & Operational Excellence Specialist for a five-month assignment at a manufacturing company in Ludvika, Sweden. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible. The assignment includes travelling. 

The role

A major part of the role will be to perform quality inspections at the company´s suppliers in Europe. The assignment involves initially frequent travelling and close collaboration with suppliers to follow up on quality and Mechanical Completion (MC).

Main tasks:

Coordinate operations onsite and ensure that the activities are planned, performed, completed, and documented in a manner that ensures a smooth handover based on an agreed status.Display personal commitment to HSE throughout the project execution.Facilitate coordination and cooperation across functional disciplines.Ensure a uniform approach to market companies across all areas and disciplines within the project team and within the contractor organisations at site.Establish, communicate, and ensure implementation of required routines for performance of MC and hand-over activities.Ensure alignment between the different departments and see to that best practises are shared and implemented.Establish, communicate, and ensure implementation of required routines for performance of preservation activities – from receipt of material throughout all phases of the project.Work closely with Company CPR / Commissioning to ensure alignment.Monitor work progress against completion plans and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective actions.Be proactive and take corrective actions as required, without undermining Contractor’s responsibility.Coordinate and cooperate across the project team in the various locations, and with Commissioning. Ensure high focus on other interfaces as they are defined.Aid Contractor & Supplier with operation of the ProCoSys system.Follow up of MC and punchout at supplier in preparation for FAT prior to shipment.

Experience and competencies

The person we are looking for must have at least 10 years of field experience preferably with experience from EIT or Mechanical/Piping. Completion toll experience, preferably ProCoSys is required. Familiarity with MC site inspection process is preferable. You are a good team player as well as able to work alone. The role also requires fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Swedish.
