We are now looking for a new colleague at group SHEQ department who wants to join the journey to further develop and improve the safety culture in Epiroc where we strive to eliminate work related injuries. It is a wide-ranging and exciting job including a broad network of contacts at a workplace that prioritize safety and health.
Group SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) is a department in the Epiroc group that support and guide the rest of the organization in the sustainability area. We ensure that the internal and external sustainability requirements are fulfilled through the rest of the organization.
We are a team of four people specialized in Safety & Health, Environment and Quality and we are located in Örebro and Sickla, Sweden.
Your mission
As the Group Safety & Health manager you are specialized in the OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) area with the main mission to support and guide the rest of the organization to ensure that we as a group fulfill the requirements defined.
Your tasks includes to define and communicate group guidelines and requirements. It will also include to follow up performance as well as to highlight where we need to improve. You are also the application owner of common OHS applications and processes defined where you ensure roll out and training where needed. Your expertise will be needed in other projects and programs not owned by the SHEQ organization.
As part of your job to follow up performance you are doing internal audits on entities and on divisions as well to follow up on reported data.
In this role you will not have any direct reporting staff but you will ensure success through collaboration with the divisions and the entities in the group.
The ultimate mission, together with the rest of the organization, is to reach our goal to have no work related injuries.
Your profile
To succeed in this role we believe you are an open-minded and analytical person with proven skills in the OHS area and are willing to work on a broad basis in the organization. You have great interpersonal and communication skills and you enjoy doing presentations and trainings with colleagues on all levels in the organization.
You have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainability, Industrial engineering, behavioral impairment or similar. We believe that you have been working in this area for several years and are familiar with laws, regulations and standards in the OHS area.
To have strong verbal and written communications skills in English is required, as you will be creating guidelines and other documents in English and perform meetings, presentations and trainings in English.
With your innovative mindset and experience you have the ability to contribute to changing the safety culture and improve results in the OHS area in the group.
Location and travel
This position is preferably located in Örebro or Sickla, Sweden.
Occasional travel is required. Both domestic and international, mainly to our entities, but also to customers and to other relevant events.
