As Sustainability & Innovation Project Leader you have a unique opportunity to challenge and drive continuous improvement within the Sustainability & Innovation area!

We are looking for a person, with a strategic mindset and ability to challenge existing practices and drive change, to join our Core Corporate Function Sustainability & Innovation, based at Skanska Group headquarter in Stockholm. The function consists of ten persons situated in Stockholm, and the role is part of the Sustainability Development team.

Job description

This is a strategic role that contributes to drive sustainability development and scale innovation as key strategic areas for Skanska, closely connected to our business and offering. Climate-smart solutions is the main driver for innovation and this role will have the opportunity to build structures to enable knowledge-sharing and identify best practice thorough-out the company. You will drive sustainability development projects based on analysis, understanding of the broader external sustainability agenda and strong network.

Main assignment

* Lead and drive development projects based on the external sustainability agenda, data analysis and the Skanska Business strategy, in close co-operation with the business units and other group functions.
* Take an active part in developing a strategic approach to innovation, including structures for group collaboration, knowledge-sharing and scaling of innovation.
* Contribute to Skanska's cooperation with external networks and partnerships regarding sustainability and innovation.
* Participate in internal networks enabling knowledge-sharing and identifying best-practice
* Be responsible for research and analysis, and for answering ad hoc request for sustainability information from internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with business units and other group functions and work on any task related to the Core Corporate Function Sustainability & Innovation if necessary.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate for this position holds a relevant university degree together with knowledge of sustainability business trends and an understanding of driving an innovation agenda. You have strong project management skills being aware of the different dimensions of driving change processes in a large organization. High level of English and excellent skills in communication, both written and spoken, is required and experience of a global working environment is seen as great advantage.

You have a proactive mindset, ability to work strategically together with a very good organizational understanding. As a person, you are analytic with capacity to adapt information and act based on different perspectives. You have an outstanding talent to see the overall picture, prioritize and work towards set goals. You are a prestige less and open-minded team player with ability to create synergies through a structured approach.
