You are going to actively use our employer branding framework when developing and communicating Strawberry as an employer brand and engage our employees on the journey ahead.
The role is newly created, and as you have taken part in a similar development journey in a larger company in the past, we think that there is a lot in place for your experience and expertise to help lift us further. The role is part of the Nordic team and some travel must be expected. Office location can be in Stockholm or Oslo - whatever suits you best. As Group Talent & Development Director, you will be part of the People & Culture management team and report to the VP People & Culture.
Areas of responsibility:
• Lead the Nordic department for Talent & Development
• Operational and strategic partner for employer branding, talent and career development
• Drive, implement and further develop career and development initiatives for the group
• Lead, support and facilitate talent and career development for our employees, in line with the company's strategy
• Ensure that our managers have the necessary knowledge, as well as
• Ensure implementation of learning & career paths for all our 16 000 employees
• Responsibility for ensuring good cooperation with external actors relevant to the role's areas
We imagine that you have a burning commitment to your subject, competence and career, and you can turn good ideas into action. You are self-motivated, proactive and capable of change. You are able to quickly familiarize yourself with and sort information, form your own opinion and come up with proposals for solutions. Your work journey so far has given you solid experience from similar tasks in a larger company, preferably a matrix organization. In your toolbox, you have communicative skills that enable you to get your message across and you maneuver well between different levels. You are fearless, have an inner drive and desire to develop both yourself and the role in line with Nordic Choice Hotels' needs.
Otherwise, we see that you have:
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar tasks at management level
• Good insight into and experience from digital learning platforms
• Good insight in employer branding
• Senior experiance from talent & performance management from larger corporation
• Relevant higher education. Several years of experience in comparable areas of responsibility can be emphasized accordingly.
• Fluent in one or two of the nordic langauges as well as english
