Overview
We are looking for a Tax Controller which will manage the Group’s tax consolidation and work with the analysis of the Group’s tax positions. The function will be part of the Group’s tax department, within Group Function Finance at SCA Headquarters, working globally across all businesses and functions. The position will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden and report to the Director Group Tax Control. The primary responsibility will be to ensure that the Group’s tax reporting according to IFRS is transparent and of excellent quality. This includes enabling SCA’s systems and processes to be well adapted to the purpose and to analyse and transform information gathered into a format that can be communicated externally as well as internally.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Consolidation of the tax reporting
Analysis of the Group’s tax position for internal and external communication
Budget and deviation analysis of the Group’s tax charge and tax payments
Preparation of the tax note in annual report
To have an important stake in the managing of the Group’s taxes

Experience and Background requirements
University degree or equivalent in business and administration or economics
At least 5 years working experience preferable in an international environment
Experience in accounting, group accounting or controlling
Experience from working with tax issues in a company, in one of the leading audit firms or in the Swedish Tax Agency is an advantage
Some travel is to be expected.
