Group Tax is responsible for the Sandvik Group tax position, enabling structures and processes that are common for the Group and providing services within the tax area – ensuring we’re compliant with all relevant local and international tax laws and regulations. Our team includes experts in international corporate taxation, indirect taxes, transfer pricing, tax control and customs.
About your job
In this position, you’re responsible for the M&A related tax work within the Sandvik Group, which includes being involved in and leading transaction associated matters, such as tax restructurings and tax integration of new businesses. As Group Tax is responsible for the tax position in the wider Sandvik Group, you’re also involved in a wide range of other international corporate tax matters in a constantly changing and evolving business. You drive projects and provide input related to legal structures, financing related matters, policies and procedures.
As you’re working in a broad role with varying tasks, your mission also includes:
Leading the tax workstream and supporting M&A projects.
Supporting integration activities.
Driving or supporting restructuring activities.
Analyzing potential implications of new legislation and supporting the implementation of new processes.

The location for this position is the World Trade Center in Stockholm and you report to the Head of International Tax. We’re applying a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office work, from our brand-new office, with remote work.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience of working with international corporate tax matters in a global organization or consultancy firm. You’re used to working independently and guiding a business, but as you’re a part of a large tax team at Sandvik, you’re never alone. With your business-oriented mindset, you support business initiatives and are used to leading projects. You have a relevant university degree in law or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. As we work in an international environment, excellent English language skills are required, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.

You enjoy collaborating with others and you build trust – both by building long-term relationships and by offering advice and guidance based on facts, experience, sound judgement and thorough business understanding.
