The Global Sales group in Business Unit Energy Separation is responsible for the sale of high-speed separator (HSS) systems to the Energy sector. We are focusing on customized solutions where the core component (HSS) is either offered as standalone units or integrated in complete systems.
About the job
Global technology engineer responsibilities include supporting in the pulp & paper feedstock, reuse of material and circular shift area, as well as the traditional energy sectors, both direct and through interactions with our sales companies around the world. You do this by giving qualified customer centric technical support on separators and processes, assisting the sales organization in their activities.
You need to be communicative and have the ability to create participation and commitment. With your process insights you will interact with customers for technology conversion, pilot testing and where possible co-create customer specific development projects to match our solutions.
The role also includes developing support and design tools for the various products that we offer.
You will also deliver training/learning activities for employees, business partners and end-user customer to secure knowledge and inspire effective work, and work with R&D on customer adaptations of existing products.
The position will be based in Tumba and will require around 30-70 travel days per year.
Who are you?
We are looking for a technical person with process design experience from renewable, chemical or petrochemical industry.
You got component function and selection skills and a commercial mind and drive.
You have a master degree in chemical engineering or similar with a relevant industry experience.
Knowledge of our or similar products is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
You are flexible, driven and result- and customer oriented.
A big part of the work will involve interfacing with various Alfa Laval functions globally, such as Sales Companies, Engineering & Supply, Parts & Service, Marketing & Portfolio and R&D, as well as international customers from different countries and cultures.
