Growth Marketing Manager

We are looking for a talented Growth Marketing Manager to take the lead with our growth marketing strategies. Your main duties include running experiments across the funnel, improving conversion rate, increasing customer retention, and working cross-department to collaborate on new initiatives. Furthermore you will also be responsible for paid marketing (SEO, SEM) for our growing number of sustainable pet care brands.

The ideal candidate is a proven, collaborative professional who is an expert in D2C or ecommerce marketing strategy with a proven record of driving growth across the entire customer journey. You posses a strong analytical mindset with the love of data, which you combine with a creative out-of-the box thinking.

You report directly to our CMO

Responsibilities

- Define the goals, core strategies and most efficient tactics to drive cost-effective acquisition and retention for our DTC sustainable pet brands.
- Develop integrated marketing plans and programs that fuel customer discovery, interest, engagement and retention.
- Partner with Creative, Brand, and Content to ensure your strategies and plans build on and leverage the integrated marketing strategy
- Devise a SEO strategy and work with cross-functional teams to execute programs that drive high-quality organic traffic.
- Work with the Tech-team to implement changes on the site ranging from landing pages to ensure strong conversion, to on page SEO strategies
- Develop and lead the team to execute a paid marketing strategy across search, social, programmatic display, referral, native, podcast, and affiliate that drives cost-effective new customer growth
- Understand deeply the lifecycle of our customers and identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Spearhead the cross-channel retention marketing strategy, managing email marketing and loyalty to improve the retention curve
- Budget effectively across your channels, track marketing and keep track of CAC and ROAS
- Build and execute a digital testing roadmap across messaging, creative and audience using historical data as a guide.
- Support the business by reporting on existing KPIs and identifying future growth opportunities via data insights and analyses.


Requirements

- 2-5 years experience in growth marketing or similar
- 1-2 years minimum experience of DTC or ecommerce
- Great knowledge of paid and organic search, paid social and digital advertising, personalized communications, across both web and mobile
- Strong leadership skills, building trust in your team, stakeholders and executives.
- Experience managing and communicating with multi-functional in-house teams and external agencies
- Highly detail oriented and able to re-prioritize based on changing business needs
- An entrepreneurial spirit that looks at ambiguity as an opportunity rather than an issue and can build something from nothing through well-reasoned and analytical decision-making, strong prioritization and grit.
- Omni-channel know-how, experience in adopting and enhancing media-mix and attribution models to achieve the highest incremental effect on acquisition/retention.
- Can combine these deep analytical skills with consumer empathy, to ensure we are always delivering delightful, customer-centric experience.
