Gruppchef - Solutions

We are now looking for a group manager for system design and R&D with employees in Linköping, Arboga or Stockholm (Järfälla).



Your role

The group consists of 20 employees who work with system design, software development, operating systems, real-time systems, drivers, networks and information security. In your role as manager, you will be responsible for coaching, guiding and motivating your employees to achieve individual, project and line-common goals, which also includes daily management in the form of priorities, resource allocations and calculations.



You will also work closely with your management colleagues in the Communications department to effectively lead and distribute the work within and between the groups. It is expected that you participate and support the business side to help our projects succeed. This will be done by e.g. matching the right profile and competence to the project needs, be part of quotes, meeting the customer, supporting the project in tailoring and developing methods and processes, coach and support the project members within your domain and improving ways of working. You will have a close collaboration with other Engineering Managers, Product Managers and Project Managers among others.



The group members spend most of their time working in our projects and you as the group manager have an important part in giving the group a sense of belonging, spreading experience and coaching the employees.



Your profile

We are looking for an individual with experience in leading and coaching staff. For us, it is important to be able to focus and have the ability to think big picture and achieve results by getting more involved in the day-to-day operations if needed. Developing both employees and the business is close to your heart.



You attach great importance to your role as a role model in the organization in terms of leadership, communication, business acumen and delivery security. Your work is characterized by commitment, cooperation and belief that the team is stronger than the individual. You are ambitious, driven, and have the ability to generate energy in the organization.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
