Assignment Description:
Our team is looking for a GUI Developer for the Embedded Applications team, who will work with GUI development in the MW/GUI team. You’ll develop the graphical interface in our handheld cameras and will further develop based on the platform we have today for UI.
What you'll do:
● Using different techniques and tools (top-down, mvc, OO, Rational Rose), designs technical solutions that meet business requirements and PLC deliverables including component reusability, data sharing and security.
● Co-ordinates and provides input to backend developers on interfaces and produce high quality testable code according to design specifications.
● Collaborate with product management, clients, and software development team to define and implement standard solutions for the product direction related to GUI design.
● Work with Software Architects to design/create/develop technical solutions, blend and integrate multiple technologies for a best of breed solution.
● Understanding Agile development methodologies test driven development, continuous integration, code coverage, code analysis.
● Design reusable page layouts and templates for ongoing application design and development.
● Work closely with senior framework engineers to integrate UI components into application designs.
Who you are:
● Able to work independently and being able to plan their work and develop in Linux and QT for our UI.
● Technical background in QT, Squish, Linux, Jenkins, GIT, and C/C++, C#, WPF, and .Net4.
● Experience with implementing GUI designs with Java Swing, application internationalization, multi-threaded and network programming, Distributed Computing Technologies, Apache Ant/Maven.
● Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institution.
● Expected that the successful candidate will have led at least one major technically challenging global project.
