HARDWARE ARCHITECT TO ALTEN

For this long-term assignment, we are looking for someone who will play a major role in developing ALTEN’s growth and partnership with one of our biggest clients. You will be supporting hardware design and hardware selection out of safety perspective in evaluations  together with skilled Architects and Safety Managers with different skills and background at ALTEN, and will therefore have a close collaboration with stakeholders, the ALTEN IT Business Unit and ALTEN’s Technical Unit Management Team.


YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
System Requirement Development
Analyzing identified requirements from safety perspective
Supporting the hardware selections of platform based on the received requirements
Evaluate the system architecture and each individual component of this system at a high level
Supporting in Safety Analysis, Risk Assessments and Hazard Analysis
Writing project documentation and its support
HW Design Selection
Assisting in choosing the technologies for the implementation of each component and connections between the components
Prototype Development / Identification of needs to prototype
Architectural review

IT IS THEREFORE REQUIRED THAT YOU POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
Train or Aviation domain knowledge
Experience in QA or Requirement
Experience in Hazard Analysis
Experience in Risk Analysis
Experience in Development within SIL 2-4 requirements
Experience in Hardware Design / Selection
Documented training or Scrum Master Certification
Good command of English language
Master’s degree in science

MERITORIOUS SKILLS:
Experience in Software Design in embedded environments
PLC / Sensors
Simulink
OpenVPX
Scada
