Business Area Networks: where 5G was born! We’re a global team of approx. 30,000 in 93 countries, with 126 nationalities represented. About half of us work in R&D, approx. 6,000 in Group Supply and 5,000 in Service Area Networks. Together we create future-proof, scalable network architectures in an industry that is constantly on the move. The IP Design 3 team (part of Digital ASIC and FPGA in Lund) has the assignment, in cooperation with Kista, to develop and verify Ericsson DPD (Digital Pre Distortion) IP and perform Hardware Lab Verification and Validation activities for Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) products.
We are now looking for a developer to strength the DPD teams in Lund. The work consists of understanding and refining DPD algorithms, developing and implementing them in Register Transfer Level (RTL), verifying them first on block and then on top level using the latest Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and formal methodologies. As part of algorithm evaluation and product verification HW Lab test are required, competence in this area is therefore a plus.

To be successful in the role you must have
Education: Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Physics
Min years of experience: 6 months
VHDL / Verilog or System Verilog
UVM
C / C++, scripting languages
Matlab
Be driven, analytical, and an understanding teammate
